Gala 3 makes its Mark!
Our third annual Gala was held in a spectacular outdoor setting at the elegant home of Aaron and Jan Lupuloff on May 3, 2008. Indispensable partners in administrators, teachers and parents gathered to socialize and support the fundraising efforts of the NHS Foundation for Excellence. All attending are firmly committed to improving the various programs at Norcross High School thereby enhancing the education of our students and raising achievement levels. Together we hope to positively impact both the teaching and learning experiences at Norcross. Over the past few years the Foundation has funded Media Center improvements; the Student Pavilion; assisted in the funding of the Duke House; constructed a handsome new trophy case displaying student awards and artwork, and provided grants and scholarships to teachers upon request. The Board will continue to put the funding we receive to immediate use to advance and enhance programs and facilities at Norcross High.
Each year the Foundation has exceeded our fundraising goals and we hope to continue this objective as we prepare for Gala 4 on May 1, 2009. We hope to see you there!
