Third Annual Gala and Hall of Fame Induction

The NHS Foundation for Excellence accomplished a new goal at the annual Gala held on May 3, 2008. More than $65,000 was raised in ticket sales and the purchase of “wish bricks” from the school house wall. The Gala offered a wonderful evening of good food, live music, socializing and fundraising to benefit the students and teachers at Norcross High. The Foundation was founded seven years ago to strengthen the academic, artistic and athletic capabilities of our programs. The Foundation inducted Lucy Maddox, Collier Westmoreland and Chuck Whelan to the Hall of Fame. Their contributions are unique but they all shared a common goal – to make a significant and lasting impression on our students and the Norcross community.

Trophy Case
The trophy case, located in the main foyer, displays the many academic, athletic and fine art achievements accomplished by NHS Students.

Laptop Carts

Teachers and students benefit from having five wireless laptop carts for daily use. Each cart hold 16 laptops and allows students to access technological resources from their classroom.
